Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

This policy explains how ShuffleVPN handles information when you use our website, Android or iOS apps, support channels, and privacy-request tools. It should be read together with the privacy notice shown in the app store or at checkout for your platform.

Scope and the information this policy covers

This policy covers the ShuffleVPN website, mobile applications, customer support, subscription verification, and account-deletion workflow. Platform stores, payment processors, and other services you choose to use may process information under their own notices. The store listing and purchase confirmation identify the seller for your particular purchase.

Information we process

To create and maintain access, the app uses a device identifier and device-bound security material, and may send device type, model, operating-system version, app version, and a public device key to our service. Private device keys and session credentials remain in the device's secure storage; the app does not send your private key to us.

We also process account identifiers, VPN-profile and subscription status information, and purchase-verification data that a platform store provides or that you submit for verification. We process the information in contact forms and support messages, such as your name, email address, company (if supplied), message, and correspondence. A deletion request may include a privacy reference code, optional contact email, and information needed to verify and handle the request.

Website services may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages requested, security or anti-abuse signals, and cookie or similar-technology identifiers where those tools are enabled. If crash reporting is enabled in a released app, diagnostic details about an error and the app/device context may also be sent to help us investigate it.

VPN traffic and connection information

The website does not inspect VPN traffic. ShuffleVPN is designed so that website analytics and support tools do not receive the contents of traffic carried through the VPN tunnel, such as the pages you view or the content of encrypted communications.

A VPN service can still require limited technical and account information to authenticate a device, provide a connection, defend the service, and resolve support issues. This policy does not override a lawful, valid request that we are required to address, nor does it make a claim about data practices of websites, apps, networks, or service providers outside ShuffleVPN.

Why we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service; authenticate devices and subscriptions; maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the apps; respond to support and deletion requests; prevent fraud, abuse, and attacks; communicate important service information; and meet legal obligations. Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on the basis that applies to the processing, which may include performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating a secure service, your consent, or compliance with a legal obligation.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only as needed to run ShuffleVPN: with infrastructure, database, storage, email, customer-support, security, analytics, crash-reporting, and anti-abuse providers; with Google Play or Apple for subscription verification and billing support; and with professional advisers or authorities when required by law or necessary to protect people, rights, or the service. Providers may process information in countries other than yours under appropriate contractual or other lawful safeguards where required. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information for the period reasonably needed for the purpose described above, including account administration, support, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance. The appropriate period depends on the information and context; deleting an account may not immediately remove records we must retain for those purposes.

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls and secure device storage for app credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please keep your device protected and contact us promptly if you believe your account or device has been compromised.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You can submit a deletion request in the app or through the website using your privacy reference code, or contact us below. We may ask for enough information to verify that the request relates to your account, and we may limit or decline a request where the law permits. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children and changes to this policy

ShuffleVPN is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.

We may update this policy when the service, law, or our practices change. We will post the revised version here and change the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the app, website, or another appropriate channel.
